I am writing today, to invite you to participate in our annual Gryphon Young Musician Award. In our first year, this event was a huge success, hosted by the Russo British Chamber of Commerce and attended and presented by HRH Prince Michael of Kent. I am delighted to announce that, subject to any further COVID restrictions placed upon us, that we will be holding the event on the following dates:

- Friday 12th November 2021 Deadline for video entries

- Saturday 27th November 2021 Live Heats at Brookes Moscow

- Wednesday 1st December 2021 Gala Final of the Gryphon Young Musician

Due to travel restrictions currently in place, we are awaiting news as to whether HRH Prince Michael of Kent will be able to join us again this year for the Gala Final.

The title of RBCC Gryphon Young Musician of the Year will be presented to the winner, as well as the opportunity to have an all expenses paid trip to the BBC Proms in 2022.

This year, entries will be only for International or local schools in Moscow & Saint Petersburg. Specialist music schools will not be permitted to enter.
