Dear Friends,

As many of you I’m sure are aware, the President of the British Business Club Mr. Luke Conner, was involved in a catastrophic car accident in the North of Moscow four weeks ago. At the time of writing he remains unconscious. At this very difficult time for Luke and his family, we have decided to press ahead with a British Business Club event in his honour. 

This event is kindly hosted by Canon Malcolm in the grounds of St. Andrew's church. This is an opportunity for us all to come together in solidarity with Luke. We have a  specific purpose of raising much needed funds for his wife and children and indeed any ongoing medication.

We will be making a collection for the Conner family; all donations, large or small, will be most gratefully accepted. All monies raised through our activities on the evening, will go directly to Mrs. Conner.

Entrance fee will be a 1000 RUB which will include a complimentary barbecue. 

A variety of quality chilled drinks will be served.

This event will begin at 4PM and will finish at 10PM.

I am absolutely confident that in his absence, at this time, Luke would love to think that the British Business Club is being proactive.

We have settled on the 2nd of June as this is Luke’s Birthday.

We are very pleased to be cooperating with several other international bodies and organisations for this event. I very much hope that the international community and all our, and Luke’s dear Russian friends and colleagues will come together at this time.
