HAPPY PRINCE, by Oscar Wilde a gentle, tragi-comic, romantic story about a lonely swallow's strange friendship with a golden statue!

A funny, tender, happy/sad, family story “intended" said Oscar Wilde "to be read to children.” The tale is newly retold in a magical, quirky revival, by the famous Flying Banana Theatre Co.

This traditional storytelling style adaptation is accompanied by beautiful, touching chamber music especially written for the occasion by renowned English musician, Emmett Elvin.

Happy Prince, Directed by Martin Cooke, illustrated by resident sand artist Li Chi, starring the wonderful acting talent of Marina Pijetlovic.

Sublime comedy clowning and choreographic humour are brought to the main roles by brilliant physical actors and melodramatic storytellers.
