.Macbeth.

29.10

A tale told by W. Shakspere.
St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Moscow.

This version of .Macbeth. a tale told by William Shakespeare, is a poetic performance, set to the music of Bach, Pursel, John Stanley and Messien.

The evening will consist of a Hammond organ recital together with contemporary electronic accompaniment by Mystic Record's rising star, Dj Taff.
The story will be recited in an extravagant declamatory style, by English melodeclamation artist, Martin J Cooke.

Vivat Action-theatre provide authentic sword fights, together with 18th century style action theatre sequences; and Strana Oz's wonderful freak show costumes will provide an air of fashion and glamour. Hopefully, a disturbing, provocative feeling of formalism and strangeness will be evident throughout the spectacle.

A bar will be provided for your delectation by the hip guys at Brucov bar, and we encourage you to dress according to Halloween tradition. Have fun with that!

The church will at times be candlelit and the atmosphere will become dark and tense, therefore we encourage you to be sensitive about inviting delicately minded children to the performance of
 .Macbeth.
