Boogie-Woogie Rooftop Charity Reception
On Wednesday, May 30 (19:00-23:00), the international and Russian business communities are gathering for an evening of good friends, wonderful food and drink, and excellent live music by Boogie Woogie Boom (feat Olga Egorova). The event takes place in the Executive Lounge and on the scenic rooftop terrace of the Renaissance Moscow Monarch Centre Hotel, (31A, bldg. 1, Leningradsky Prospect).
It’s a chance for us all to kick back, relax a bit, do a bit a networking, and all while raising awareness and support for the vital charitable works of MPC Social Services.
Many wonderful gifts and prizes on offer during a special raffle. The money raised during the raffle on May 30th will assist MPC Social Services to offer its programs this summer. These include: The Parish Center, a community drop-in center for economic migrants and refugees in the process of receiving asylum. Supporting the Parish Center ensures the availability of a safe place to empower individuals and families through counsel and community resources to soften the impact of extreme poverty and to take steps to stabilize their lives. Russian-language classes to support integration into Russian society for migrants and refugees. The Medical Advice Center assists individuals and families that don’t have access to healthcare by offering doctor consultations, health classes, medical referrals for vital laboratory analysis, and assistance to receive medication. The Children's Hunger Assistance Program (CHAP) is a bi-monthly food distribution program that operates within the Parish Center to guarantee that 140 Russian children living in poverty receive nutritional food.
