The British Business Club has had a long and happy relationship with the Taganka Children's Fund. We have worked together for more than 11 years now and have watched the great support and change that TCF have been able to make to the families and children they look after.
We hope that our continued support to TCF will enable them to increase their support to local families and children and increase that support for more services and benefits.
Taganka Shed
Inclusive Theatre "Taganka Shed" is
a partnership project of Taganka Children’s Fund and
the London-based Theatre Company Chickenshed.
The inclusive theatre
philosophy supposes that the theatre is open to everyone interested in
creative process and self-expression irrespective of physical state or
social background.
One of the main objectives of “Taganka Shed”
is to involve children and young people with disability into the
creative process to lessen their social isolation. We want to
remove the barrier between them and their mainstream peers and to teach
them all to work together creating an atmosphere of mutual respect and
understanding.
We are children and adults,
Dreamers
and realists,
Each of us can achieve a lot,
But together we can
do everything!
We don’t play professionals,
Our theatre is based
on the ideas
Of each participant.
We are open to everything new
And
learn from each other.
We praise the beauty
Which we create
together!
And together we do the magic!!!
Theatre lessons are held twice per
week.
