The British Business Club is a private membership club operated by a Russian limited liability company called OOO "British Business Club". Currently it is managed by a group of five "board members". It has an excellent group of helpers and organisers who do everything from letting people know what is happening to actually getting products and venues arranged for the various events.
The meetings are paid for through an amalgamation of sponsor donations made in cash or by bank transfer, through direct supply of product for the events such as wine, beer, food and prizes etc. and by individual member contributions.
The BBC uses this web site to publish information about its activities and promote its sponsors, as well as give out general information about the club and other interesting items of news. We send regular emails to members and non-members inviting them to register for forth-coming events and to keep them up-to-date with the club's activities.
The club also has its own mail server and provides a free web mail and POP3 account service to all sponsors and members who wish to use it.
Although the BBC does not lobby or provide commercial opportunities, we do have very good contacts throughout the business and administrative bodies in Russia and can always point someone in the right direction for advice and support.
